The Royal Press is a 75 years old printing press based in the heart of Jonker St, Malacca, Malaysia. It is going through a new journey of transition with hopes to revive the dying trade of letter press printing. In collaboration with the 3rd generation owner, a living museum is being developed. A temporary gallery had been designed for documentary and, at the same time, opened the door of The Royal Press to public, while the living museum and merchandise is being completed.

 

A vintage look and feel had been implemented, to give prominence to where The Royal Press located, while making the brand unique and distinctive among the other modern-day letterpress printing companies. The brand look and feel was achieved by using distinctive combinations of colours and typefaces.
